Before the sun set

In the time of summer there is no need to explain about the heat of sun rays.At the mid of the day it comes  at it maximum, and people are hesitated to go outside.Because studies  are showing that sun rays are coming with its maximum intensity and causes some healthy problems too.So when sun moves from our straight top of the head to our back side that is to west it becomes easy to go outside and do things whatever we need.
Evening  time is a portion of day time at which people are starting their relaxation after the rushes happened in the whole day. That is it is the preparation of mind to get a good night sleep. If we specify this portion of day  with time according to me, it is 4PM to 6PM.Children use this time for playing, older persons and different office workers are going for jogging.Couples are going to some park where wonderful breeze with the smell of flowers  gives a strong support to their talks makes them feel cool and open mind, through that empowering their relation and creating  a situation of  a wonderful love song. For some people including me those who has’nt a girl friend the best companion in the evening is a cup of coffee and a book for reading.Take a cup of coffee and start drinking  when you start reading. As your focus on the book increases your interest in coffee will also increase. After when you complete your reading coffee cup will be clean.
Beach is another good place to spend evening time.We can see sun as a red ornamental dot at a long distance and in front of that at the  bottom side sea  is lying as a flowing blue carpet.God is great what a view ,what a creation.I am sure any one who is interestingly watching this sunset in this world whatever problem he is affected with he will forget that, his mind will be calm  and of course he may find some solution too.If we  look into the sky,we can see group of different kinds of birds flying to get into their own living homes before the sunset. While flying they are forming different shapes in the sky.
When time passes small air comes, giving indication that sun the only one witness of all the happenings in this world  is going to sleep  and we all need to be there in our own houses.Preparations for the night begins to get a good sleep and wake up in the next morning with new aims and to get a new day with full of energies.

                    TOURISM POTENTIALS IN KERALA

Kerala, renowned for its lush vegetation, tranquil beaches, extensive backwaters and stunning mountains, holds tremendous tourism potentials. Its performing arts, games, temple festivalsand the unique cuisine invite foreign tourists as well as tourist from other states of India.

This tiny state that clings to the south-western flank of Indian peninsula offers a eich and beguiling culture that embraces Hinduism,Christianity,Islam,Jainism and Judaism. The temples, churches, mosques and synagogues echo a long history of global connections. The experience of the religious tolerance in Kerala is a source of immence cultural education for the tourists.

Kathakali
Kerala is famous for its different kind of festivals. The Onam festival is celebrated by the entire populace of the state, irrespective of caste, creed and religion. This unique festival is an occasion for remembering  agolden era when equality justice and freedom prevailed.Onam festival is only a glimpse of Kerala’s culture.

Thrissur Pooram

The internationally famous ‘Katahkali’ and other indigenous dance forms like ‘Theyyam’,’Koodiyattam’ , ‘Mohihiniyattam’ , ‘Krishnanattam’ and ‘Ottamthullal’ charm the western tourists. The ‘Trissur Pooram’ with scores of caparisoned elephants flanked by musicians and torch beares is really enchanting to thr foreign visitors.Kerala is also the birth place of the highly stylished martial art of ‘Kalaripayattu’.

THE GOOD EARTH

The ancient Sanskrit poet Bhavabhuti sang:”Kalohyayam niravadhi, vipula cha pritwi”(Time is limitless and Earth is vast.)How vast is our earth? Its radius at the equator is 6378 kilometres and that at the poles is  6357 kilometres. Its average circumference is 40030 kilometres. The earth weighs 6*1021 tonnes(1 tonne=1000 kilogram). The average density of earth is 5.52grams/cubic centimetre.

About 2/3rd  of the earth’s surface is covered by the oceans and only 1/3rd is land. The earth was formed about 5 billion years ago, along with our sun and other planets in the solar system. The primitive earth atmosphere consisted of the gases methane, ammoniaand water vapour.Primitive plant life started first. These produced oxygen by photosynthesis. The atmosphere gradually became rich in Oxygen.Primitive humanoid ancestors appeared about a million years ago.Even now the core of the earth is vry hot and consist of molten metals like iron.Science  tells  that  earth and sun will die once.

Earth rotateson its own axis towards the east with a speed of 1674 kilometres/hour.The earth revolves around the sun with a speed of 107,200 kilometres/hour.

The moon is a satellite of our mother earth. It revolves around the earth.it is called a giant satellite because the Jupitor and the Saturn also have their satellites, they are very small compared to our moon.

There is only one earth for us human beings! This is our good earth! We have to see that it is not spoilt. It has everything to satisfy our need, but not our greed.Do not pollute our good earth.Let us strive to keep it clean.

STARS

Stars are actually highly compressed, extremely hot gaseous bodies, capable of emitting electromagnetic radiation.Stars are self luminous. They are composed mostly of hydrogen, and to a smaller extent, helium.Carbon, sulphur etc are also present in very small amounts.
Ther are 8000 stars visible to the naked eye,as seen from the earth. But actually there are approximately one hundred thousand million stars in our Milky Way galaxy alone!.The vast majority are so far away that they are not visible. Our sun is just one of the stars in our galaxy. The star nearest to us is Proxima Centauri, which is one of the three stars in the triple star group called Alpha Centauri.

RED GIANTS
These are very large stars.Red giants are formed as one possible end product of the evolution of stars. These are diffused systems having very small densities.

WHITE DWARFS
These are the end products of another variation of stellar evolution. Here, stars shrink and attains a very high density and temperature. The star called Companion of Sirius is an example of a white dwarf. The dia meters of white dwarfs are of the order of only 1000 to 2000 kilometres.

NEUTRON STARS
These are smaller than white dwarfs and arethe end products ofanother evolutionary route. They have diameters of the order of 10m to20km only!Densities are around 600 tonnes /cubic centi metre.

BLACK HOLES
This is also an end product of stellar evolution! The star shrinks finally to almost a point, with density approaching infinity! The gravitational pull is so great that not even electromagnetic radiation can leave the system. As a result of this enormous gravitational pull and absence of radiation, the system appears black.

CHANDRASEKHAR LIMIT
The great Indian-American astrophysicist has made great contributions to the study of stars. He discovered what is now known as the “Chandrasekhar limit”.If the ratio of the mass of the star to that of the sun is less than 1.44,but below 3.6,the star would become a neutron star. And if the ratio is more than 3.6,the  en dresult is a black hole.

       READING ,TOOL  FOR  LEARNING

Knowledge knows no bounds. The habit of reading books contributes to the enrichment of our knowledge in terms of human experience and information.
The influence of TV and computer seems to have reduced the popularity of reading recently.TV  and internet have their major impact on people in countries like USA and in Europe, but the popularity of books has not reduced.
Books are the main suppliers of General Knowledge.TV and computers are just complementary tools.students hardly have the habit of reading library books. In order to prepare for the examinations, students should consult reference books. For self –improvement, love for books and reading is an essential prerequisite.
It is often said:Reading begets ideas;ideas govern the world. So it is necessary to cultivate the habit of reading. One should develop it from childhood. We ought to be good readers in order to gather information and win success.
